I am a creative and passionate person, personally and professionally. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia and registered art therapist (ATR). I specialize in providing an individual experience backed by expressive arts therapy, somatic embodiment, polyvagal theory, and breathwork for an integrated approach to mental health. I believe in bringing a creative approach to all aspects of life.
I provide neuroaffirming psychological diagnoses through a biopsychosocial and diagnositic interview process. I am an ADHD certified clinical services provider and certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist. Primary areas of work with ASD are Level 1. Areas of experience include anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma to include adults dealing with lasting impacts of developmental trauma, PTSD and C-PTSD, identity questioning to include sexuality, gender, spirituality, etc., self-harm, parenting skills, and adjustments to new life circumstances.
I’m from Gloversville, NY and have come to call Virginia my home away from home. There’s just something about being from a small town with lifelong friends & family that will always make Gloversville my home in my heart. I appreciate conversations with depth and enjoy exploring alternative ideas about life, spirituality, and the universe. Music is the language of my soul. I love being able to evoke emotion, energy, and movement with a simple strum of the guitar. I know what it’s like to struggle with the monotony of day-to-day life, the struggle to find purpose, but I persevere. Music, art, and creativity are great coping skills. They open the doors to a cathartic release that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime.
